Hello again!

This week Sir Jake the Knight came to visit us.

He talked about his shield and his coat of arms.

His servant Miguel helped him.

The sword was very heavy!

This week Beetles Class won Attendance Ted again!

Happy New Year Everyone!

We hope you had a great Christmas and New Year and are ready to get down to some serious learning this half term !

In Drama this week we have been working on the Ant Club story called Stone Soup.  All the children brought home a special sticker sheet to go with the story and they will be collecting more stickers as we work through the next few weeks.

This week we thought about about all the different ways we can greet each other.  We then had great fun trying out the greetings. The ones we thought of were:

1.  Saying hello and waving.
2.  Giving each other a high five.
3.  Shaking hands and saying how do you do.
4.  Giving each other a hug.

Bella and Alfie say "How do you do!"

Alfie and Kai gave each other a high five

We then acted out one of the scenes from the beginning of the story.

Can you see our unfriendly faces? What good actors we are!

We can't wait until next week!

Father Christmas brought us some presents to use in our class.

On Friday it was Christmas Jumper Day.
Don't we all look smart in our jumpers?

Hello again everyone!

This half term in R.E. we have been learning all about the Hindu festival of Diwali.

Tilly and Finley made some beautiful Rangoli patterns.

We made some sparkly diwa lamps to show Rama and Sita the way home.

We tasted onion bhajis.
Most of the children liked them.
