The red ripe strawberry and the big hungry bear

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Beetles Class.  This week we have been looking at the story of The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry and the BIG HUNGRY BEAR.

We acted out parts of the story and even had a go at choosing our own disguises - can you who we are in the photos?  We have also done lots of writing about the different characters.

With Mrs Goddard we had fun tasting strawberries!

Sports Day 2015

Sports day 

This week we had a fantastic sports day.  The sun shone and we all did our very best!  A fun day was had by all!

In topic we have been learning all about seaside holidays in the past.

We have been making Punch and Judy puppets.

This week Beetles Class won Attendance Ted

 AND On-Time Turtle!

We were very excited

We will be collecting all the reading books in this week.

School Trip

Hi again everyone!


We had a lovely time on our school trip this week.
We found out lots of information about sea creatures.




DID YOU KNOW . . . . . . . . . . . . .? 


A starfish has 1000 legs ~ 200 under each of its 5 arms. If he loses an arm, it grows back!


Crabs have an exoskeleton and its teeth are in its stomach.
It breathes in through its bottom and out through its mouth!




It was very hot on the beach but we put on lots of sun cream.
 We enjoyed playing with our new buckets and spades.
