We designed our own aliens in groups then made them foam at the mouth with vinegar and bicarbonate of soda

We experimented by mixing lots different things together!

We watched carefully to see what would happen .......

Dr Destruction came in to do lots of experiments with us

We made our own slime!

YUK !

We experimented with cabbage water !  It turned into some amazing colours.

Look !

We tasted space ice cream.

We found out what different colours are made up of.

We made our own playdough.

We had rocket races ..... phew - thank goodness it's the Easter holidays now!

We had a special treat on Tuesday. 

We watched The Railway Children. 

Harvey said it was "Fantastic".

This week we made Bogey Man Soup in Topic and wrote the instructions to make it in English.

It was delicious! 

Library Vist

Hello everyone, this week we have had a trip to Gt Yarmouth library. We went on a coach and were lucky that we didn't get stuck in traffic!

Once we got there we met Peter the Librarian who told us a bit about how the library is organised and then read us a story about Winnie the Witch.

We then had some time to look around the library and read some books.

Some of us remembered our library cards and we loved using the machine to borrow a book.

Remember we need to take the book we borrowed back to the library after 3 weeks!  The date is on the slip in the front of the book.

If you haven't got a library card yet why not pop along to Gt Yarmouth Library on Saturday with an adult and they can sort out a library card for you?

Topic

This half term our topic is 

Food and Farming 

This week we have been learning about which foods come from animals.

We made butter.

First we put cream into a tub.

 After we made sure the lid was on properly,

 we shook the tub as hard as we could!

The cream went thick. 

We thought it looked like ice cream 

We carried on shaking the tub until it turned 

to butter and buttermilk.  

Then we put the butter on cream crackers 

and tasted it.

We thought it tasted YUMMY!!
