Storyteller

Hello again everyone.

Last week, Mr Gregory the storyteller visited our school.

He read us lots of funny stories.

He taught us some new finger rhymes.

 We all tried hard to join in.

Well done to everyone who is joining in with our 5 Star Reading Challenge.

We have really noticed an improvement in the reading of the children who are joining in.

Children in Need and science.

Hello Everyone,

Last Friday we had a great Non Uniform Day to raise money for Children in Need.

This week in topic we have been thinking about Winter and how cold it can get. 

We made some ice lollies to show how water changes from being a  liquid   to a solid when it is frozen.

First we mixed up water and squash.

Then we carefully poured the squash into tubs.

We put the tubs into the freezer.

After 2 days we took them out of the freezer.

They had frozen solid!

We enjoyed eating our frozen lollies and made lots of 

loud slurping noises!!

School Disco

Hello Everyone,

This week we have had our first school disco.  It was great fun (but a little bit hot and sweaty)!

Everyone tried out their best dance moves...........

The girls looked very glamorous in their disco gear.

Mrs Ball shared some of her best disco moves!

The boys had a great time too!

Don't forget it's Parents Evening on Tuesday 17th November.  Mrs Young and Mrs Goddard look forward to seeing you then.

Autumn

Hello everyone,

This week we have been learning about the four seasons, especially Autumn.

We had a great time collecting Autumn leaves in the school grounds!

On Thursday we all went on a coach to Gt Yarmouth Library. Caroline told us all about the library.  Did you know that is free to join the library?

We listened to some stories written by Nick Sharratt.  Our favourite one was Shark in the Park, but we loved the Mixed Up Fairy Stories too!

We're off back to school for some lunch now!
